Thanks to our partnership with leading claims file providers, the respective solution is integrated directly into bezahl.de, enabling a smooth digital process. It brings together all parties involved  in a shared workflow and creates complete transparency regarding status, payments and responsibilities.

Various challenges in the claims process

The processing of claims often involves a high level of manual effort. In addition to the repair itself, documents, expert opinions, and payment information must be coordinated. This can lead to uncertainty about costs and responsibilities and common issues, such as:

  • No clear overview of the current processing status of the claim
  • Manual coordination between service, accounting, lawyers, and appraisers

To truly understand the actual processes, our team at the Aufinity Group visited our partners' claims departments on site. This enabled us to understand real-world processes, identify key pain points and gain valuable, first-hand insights. This was the basis for connecting bezahl.de to leading claims file providers and created a solution that saves time and digitalizes processes.

Our in-house development center – the Innovation Hub

The claims file is a product by the Aufinity Innovation Hub, our center for practice-oriented product development and refinement. Skilled experts from various disciplines work together on digital financial solutions for the automotive industry.

The digital claims file was further developed in close cooperation with our partners and initially introduced to selected pilot customers. Direct feedback from practical experience enabled processes to be further optimized and tailored precisely to the requirements of car dealerships.

A shared, digital workflow

One of the biggest added values: From the claims management teams at the car dealerships up to insurance lawyers: everyone works on the same digital platform collaboratively. Every person involved is able to see which steps have already been completed and which are still pending. This enables:

  • A clearly documented, transparent process flow
  • A uniform database for all parties involved
  • Seamless integration of external partners such as appraisers and insurers


The claims file also remains flexible from a technical standpoint: regardless of which systems or setups a car dealership uses, integration into existing processes is possible without any problems.

Digital payment management included

The linking of the claims file with bezahl.de is particularly innovative. For the first time, digital payment and receivables management can be integrated directly into the claims process. All relevant payment data and documents stored in the claims file, such as invoices or receivables, are recorded centrally and transmitted to bezahl.de via a real-time API. All the data is automatically processed and assigned to the corresponding payment processes.

The advantages are obvious:

  • Clear allocation of all payments from insurance companies, lawyers, and customers
  • Automatic invoice delivery by email
  • 100% allocation and booking in real time
  • Overview of partial payments such as deductibles or input tax
  • Faster liquidity through early payment requests


All payments are processed via a central IBAN and are automatically assigned to the correct accounting account. This creates a continuous payment process without manual rework.

Pioneering for the industry

With the integration of leading claims file providers, the Aufinity Group is expanding its platform to include a central element for the digitalization of financial processes in the automotive industry. It represents a new standard in claims processing: faster, more transparent, and digitally networked.

At the same time, the claims file supports Aufinity Group's ambition to establish the new industry standard. Additional features that consistently build on this approach are already being implemented with the aim of permanently raising financial processes in the automotive sector to the highest possible level: Autonomous Finance.
